I want a nonceleb

Since his public break up with his long time girlfriend Saengthong ‘Jeed’ Ket-U-Tong, you can tell Ananda Everingham is feed up with the media prying into his personal life and the accusation that both were unfaithful with many other people. Jeed has been linked to that one hi-so guy, Ananda is being linked to several actresses and models, notably two individuals keep popping up: his “Happy Birthday” co-star Chayanan Manomaisantiphap and model “Amp” Suthikarn Wanjareantaweekul (one of the controversial Singha Beer Calendar models).

For his new girlfriend, Ananada said he would prefer a girl not in the Entertainment Industry. “A girl outside of the industry would be better,” he said when asked.

Why, they asked him. “Maybe the conduct is different? I don’t know. The thing is that I LIKE things that have the foundation of being real. (Is he implying Jeed is fake?) I don’t want to say that to make anyone angry. (Well you just did buddy, Jeed will have fit after this.) But it’s the truth (he laughs). We had to be together in accordance with the procedure of people who are in the Entertainment industry. If we were to break up with our significant other, we had to advise each other in how we are breaking up and what we should say, it’s very comical. I feel like I want to spend my life more normally than this. If I’m going to date anyone, I want it to be NORMAL.”

Poor guy, he’s somewhat naive, he is a celebrity now, a big one at that (only in Thailand), he ain’t getting no privacy now. A girl outside of the ET industry or in, the media will spy on you no matter what. Be happy, at least you’re getting paid big bucks compared to the little people in Thailand.

Just at an event to promote Wall’s popsicles, the media is there. This is from yesterday. Sorry Ananda, you’re popular, you’re not going to get any privacy any time soon.

Holy Crap! The teaser for one of my most anticipated Thai film, correction my only anticipated Thai film of the  year “Red Eagle (Insee Daeng)” starring Ananda Everingham is OUT!!! Screams! Yea, I need to stop with the screaming, I know I got issues. A BONUS, it looks so COOL! It doesn’t look like a cheesy Thai action film.

It’s being released this Oct. 7, 2010 nationwide Thailand.

Toon and Ananda are iconic stars for CPS Chaps

There is absolutely no point to his post, other than to stare at Ananda Everingham and rocker ‘Toon’ Athiwara Khongmalai of the rock band “Bodyslam”. Yes, I love my Bodyslam. I must say, Mr. Toon is well toned.

Ananda and Toon are the new faces of CPS Chaps for their Winter 2010 Collection. Ananda has been with the clothing company for a while now, Toon is new.

This is so shallow and simple. Last year the concept color was black. This year, they are going with brown.

A comment from the sales and marketing manager of CPS chaps, Janjira Hongladarom:”The overall concept of this collection is still on for rock music. While the colour, which previously focused on black, has now turned to brown, making it a mixture of rock star and cowboy. For our new presenters, we found Ananda and Toon share a similar style and absolutely define the sense of iconic men for CPS Chaps.” Source: Bangkok Post

Toon is jamming to his own tune.

You jump Mr. Toon, jump to your heart’s content.

They are like the Asian James Dean–cool and rebellious.

Their store display is nice. I think I’m gonna go steal it, Toon lent his prized possession, his guitar for the display.

I give you permission to stare at my bike.

Above are the winners from last year. This year, will history repeat itself. Anne Thongprasom and Ken Theeradeth are nominated in the best actress and actor category again much like last year. Will they win?

Anne Thongprasom in ‘365 Days of Love’ on Ch3

-My votes goes to ‘Aum’ Patcharapa Chaichuea, just let the girl win just once. She is nominated twice. Some were arguing how Ploy Chermarn got the nomination for ‘Rabam Duang Dao (Star Dance)’ in the leading female role category when her role was a nang’rai and she pretty much played the same character in ‘Kulap Rai Nam (A Rose without thorns)’ in terms of screen time and importance to the story yet she is nominated in the Best Supporting Actress category for that role. It doesn’t make sense. Oh well, I only watch to see what they are wearing.

Kelly Thanapat in ‘Nak Soo Pan Kaao Nieow (Sticky Rice Breed Warrior)’ on Ch7
Chatchai Plengpanich in “Mongkut Dok Som (Orange Blossom Crown)’ on Ch3—really?

Yarinda Bunnag in ‘Insee Daeng (Red Eagle)’
Tukky Sudarat Butrprom in ‘Tukky: Jao Ying Kai Kob (Tukky: the Princess who sold frogs)’
Paula Taylor in ‘The Little Comedian’

Nok Sinjai in ‘Who are you?’
Mai Charoenpura in ‘Tai Hong (Unnatural Death)’
‘Chompoo’ Araya Hagate in ‘Saranae Sip Lor (Saranae Ten Wheeler)’

So funny, Aum’s film ‘Saranae Hen Pee’ opened nationwide on December 31, 2010. Technically it should be a 2011 film. Yet she is nominated in the Best Actress Category in a film for 2010 though her film has only been out for a few days. Hilarious. I’m telling you someone goofed.

Check out the whole list here, sorry it’s only in Thai, there are pictures.

Cherry and Ananda at the Asia Model Festival Award 2011

“You’re tall, pretty, and look great in photos, you get an award!” Confetti, confetti, everybody cheers. Yep, that pretty much sums up my thoughts on the Asia Model Festival Awards, pointless and vain, but hey, “Cherry” Khemupsorn Sirisukha and Ananda Everingham won this year for Thailand. They looked stellar at the event–Cherry in her silk yellow sapphire colored dress, she has never looked better. Ananda, you look good too.

A clip of Ananda and Cherry at the event below:

Everyone is staring off into space.

Yipee, we won an award for being ‘pretty’. Oh yea!

The orchids look nice, the award trophy, not so much.

At the airport.  Without the glitz and make-up, they blend in quite well, looking like average schmoes.

Posing for the media?

To be honest with you, I have seen some of the films nominated for the 20th annual Supanahongsa Awards (The Thai Oscars), they were not so great. I’ll leave it at that.

15. Best Director- Uruphong Raksasad, Sawan Baan Na (Agrarian Utopia)
16. Best Picture- Chua Fah Din Salai (Eternity)

I love Nuna’s dress, it’s pixie, it’s cute, it’s pink, it’s suits her.

At the event, “Nuna” Neungthida Sophon lead actress in “Hello Stranger (Kuan Meun Ho)” and winner of the Best Actress award at the event cried up on stage. Ploy Chermarn cried too, not because she lost to Nuna in the Best Actress category, she cried out of shock because her film “Chua Fah Din Salai (Eternity)” won for Best Picture. ?? Okay. Emotional much?

“I was shocked when the film received the award because the crew and all the actors were exhausted by this film and especially when my teacher who is Mom Noi (the director of Eternity) went up to accept the award, I was very glad,” Ploy Chermarn explaining why she cried at the event.

Today not only did you come with Tar (Navin Yaowapalakul, Ploy’s bf) you brought your mother too, did you secretly have expectations this award (the best actress award), reporters asked Ploy.

Ploy said Tar being there or not, it didn’t matter;  Tar comes to these types of events with her often anyways. “If I don’t get that is fine because P’Tar comes to all my events. I’m very happy for Nuna who received this award. Up on stage, I even congratulated her. I don’t feel upset about it, I was delighted.”

The event was held at Central Pattana shopping center in Pattaya today. The special awards went to producers Charoen Iamphungporn from Five Star productions and “Sia Jiang” Somsak Techaratanaprasert from Sahamongkol Films productions.

May Pitchanart Sakakorn not being too sexy.

Nuna or Noona shows off her best actress trophy.

Odette Henriette Jacqmin in a red lipstick one-piece mini dress and Tak “Volcano boobs” Bongkot Kongmalai in bright magenta.

It’s like prom night for Ploy in her poofy pastel green dress with her date Tar Navin.

It’s easy being a guy, black Armani suit, white shirt, black bow tie or black necktie, and you’re done.

Wow they did good, for the red carpet decor and atmosphere, it looked like a big event and not cheap like last year’s.

The stage, kinda plan.

The done crying Ploy and Mom Noi.

Boy Pakorn is the most huggable guy for Sudsapda magazine

Top: Kao, Ter, Nadech, and Pong. Bottom: Pope, Boy, Dome, and Mark

By popular vote for Sudsapda magazine at their website and facebook account, the ranking of the 20 most huggable Thai guys of 2011. ‘Roi Marn (Trace of the Devil)’ star Boy Pakorn is ranked number 1 and ‘Ter’ Chantavit Dhanasevi came in last. I would agree, Boy did give one of the best hug and confession scene in  lakorn history in Roi Marn episode 13. It’s one of those scenes, you’ll remember for a long time.

He knocks on her door, she opens it terrified, not knowing who was there. On the other end, it’s him with a drained, exhausted face. He slowly walks towards her and wrapped his arm around her body.

‘I have something to tell you,’ he says. ‘Before we get a divorce tomorrow.’ He takes a pause. ‘I think…I think I am secretly in love with you. I don’t want it to be like this. I don’t want to get a divorce, but I don’t know what to do.”

He tears up quietly and so does she. Next big whopper question, ‘can I say with you tonight?’ AH.

‘Please don’t chase me away.’

She embraces him back  tighter and they wept in each others’ arms. Their relationship was twisted by family debt and obligations. Their marriage was a force one and her cousin was a jealousy B. From the beginning it was not meant to be easy.

Top: Peach, Two, Ken, and Mario. Bottom: Son, Guy, Porsche, and Weir

The rankings:

1.  Boy Pakorn

Yaya has an aura about her said Ananda Everingham

Veteran Thai film actor Ananda Everingham has an appreciation for young star ‘Yaya’ Urassaya Sperbund, she has an aura  he praised her during an interview with Woody Milintajinda on his show Woody (Gert Ma Kui). Woody likes Yaya too and was surprised Ananda does to.

Their conversation about Yaya:

Woody:’There is a person I am surprised that you like and I like too. I have liked her since she started doing commericals. It’s Yaya. Am I right?’

Ananda:’Oh, yea. She is very cute.’

Woody:’Would you ever work with her?’

Ananda:’Oh no, lets not.’

Woody:’You don’t want to work with her?’

Ananda chuckles:’Lets leave her in her own good place first. (In english he inserts) Don’t come to the dark side please.’

Woody:’What do you like about her? She is cute?’

Ananda:’I feel like…everybody loves her. Truthfully I have never met her.’

Woody:’Where have you met (seen) her?’

Ananda:’At events, at award shows, like that, I am not sure. Lets just say in the entertainment industry there are many people with huge egos. I feel refreshed (by Yaya) who always has an aura of sincerity. Whatever she says, I believe her completely. I have not met a person like this in the entertainment industry in a long time.’

Highest paid Thai actors for 2012

Nadech “Barry” Kugimiya is ranked one of the highest paid Thai actors of 2012. The first half of 2012, he has made 70 million baht ($2.2 million USD)–interesting enough he is the youngest on the list.

The rankings:
1. Nadech Kugimiya-70 million baht
2. Ken Theeradeth-40 million baht ($1,257,070.98 USD)
3. Dome Pakorn Lum-40 million baht
4. ‘Pae’ Arak Amornsuppasiri-25 million baht ($785,669.23 USD)
5. Ananda Everingham-20 million baht ($628,535.39 USD)

Nothing has really changed for the actresses, ‘Aum’ Patcharapa Chaichuea is still the highest paid Thai actress. When it comes to episodes per lakorn, I have learned that Ch7 actresses get paid more per episode than Ch3 actresses because Ch3 actors get a monthly salary.

‘Chompoo’ Araya Hagate and Ploy Chermarn may make far less per episode (75,000 baht) than Aum Patcharapa (150,000 baht per episode), but they get a security of a monthly salary where as Aum does not.

Ananda has to limit himself

Aging. Yea it sucks. Thailand’s superstar actor Ananda Everingham has been noticing lately that he can’t do the things he did before like having no sleep but still being able to function normally. Now he has to limit himself from drinking, eating, and going out. He can’t live the fast life as much as before.

‘I am the type of person who doesn’t know how to balance his life. When I work hard, I should go home and sleep, instead I go out. I think that if I work and then go home to sleep, it’s a little suffering. At least going out, doing something nonsensical, it gives you personal happiness.’

What did you do?
‘See my friends, drink beer, but now I have been noticing, my body is not like before. I can’t be just be getting 2 hours of sleep each night anymore, it adds up.’

He has to sleep now. Before he could not sleep for 2 days 2 night and be okay for work.

Ananda Everingham remakes Princess hours (Goong)

 photo princess hours 5_zpsvcpt2bjs.jpg

Announced in late November, actor/ producer Ananda Everingham is doing a remake of Princess Hours (Goong)–the Thailand version. Don’t know how I feel about it, the series was like my gateway drug to Korean dramas. I enjoyed Full House Thailand version from Ananda’s production company Halo Productions, I haven’t watched his latest remake of the Japanese shojo manga ‘Mischievous Kiss’ starring ‘Mike’ Pirat Nitipaisalkul and ‘Aom’ Sucharat Manaying. Ananda’s Korean remakes aren’t bad, very modern, chic, you can’t complain. Just not a fan of remakes.

Princess Hours Thailand version will star ‘Tao’ Sattaphong Phiangphor (25) as the crown prince, ‘Pattie’ Ungsumalynn Sirapatsakmetha (24) as his go-lucky commoner bride, Bebe Tanchanok as the prince’s clingy ex-girlfriend, and French-Thai actor Phan Pagniez as the prince’s rival.

The blessing ceremony took place yesterday December 12, 2015. It will air on the True Visions channel.
